📄 Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at Booksfy.in. We strive to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied, you may request a return or exchange as per the policy below. 

1. Eligibility for Returns 

To be eligible for a return: 

• The item must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging. 

• For shoes, returns will be accepted only if they are unworn and returned in the original shoe box and packaging. Returns without the original shoe box will not be accepted. 

• The return request must be initiated within 7 days of delivery. 

• You must have proof of purchase (order confirmation email or invoice). 

2. Non-Returnable Items 

The following items are not eligible for return or refund: 

• Digital products or downloadable content. 

• Items marked as final sale or non-returnable on the product page. 

• Opened or used stationery items (such as pens, markers, notebooks) unless damaged or defective. 

• Books with visible signs of use (dog-eared pages, writing, or stains). 

• Shoes that have been worn outdoors or returned without the original shoe box. 

3. Damaged or Defective Items 

If you received an item that is defective, damaged, or incorrect: 

• Please email us at support@booksfy.in within 48 hours of delivery with: 

• Your order number. 

• Clear photos of the item showing the issue. 

• We will assess the issue and offer: 

• A replacement (if available), or 

• A full refund. 

4. How to Initiate a Return 

To request a return: 

1. Contact us at support@booksfy.in 

1. Provide your order details and reason for return. 

1. Wait for our confirmation and return authorization. 

1. We will arrange reverse pickup from your delivery address wherever the service is available. 

1. If reverse pickup is not available at your location, we will share our return address with you. In that case, please pack the item securely in its original packaging and ship it to the provided address. 

Note: Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused. 

5. Shipping Costs for Returns 

• If the return is due to our error (for example: damaged, defective, or incorrect item), we will cover all shipping costs, including reverse pickup or reimbursement of any return shipping charges. 

• For returns due to any other reason (such as change of mind, ordering the wrong product, or no longer needing the item), you will be responsible for all shipping costs, including: 

• The original shipping charges for delivery to you (if applicable), and 

• The shipping charges for the return or reverse pickup. 

• If reverse pickup is not available at your location: 

• In the case of our error, you may send the item to our return address, and we will reimburse your reasonable shipping costs (please keep the receipt). 

• For all other returns, you must ship the item back at your own expense. 

6. Refunds 

• Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection. 

• If approved, your refund will be processed within 7–10 business days to your original payment method. 

• Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable, except in cases of damaged or incorrect products. 

7. Exchanges 

• If you need a different size (shoes) or wish to exchange a product, please contact us. 

• Exchanges are subject to product availability. 

8. Cancellation Policy 

• Orders can be cancelled before they are shipped. Once your order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled and will instead be subject to our Return Policy. 

• To request a cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible at support@booksfy.in or call us at 8595649247, mentioning your order number. 

• If your cancellation request is approved, any payment made will be refunded to your original payment method within 7–10 business days. 

• Booksfy.in reserves the right to refuse cancellation requests if the order has already been processed or shipped at the time of your request.
